    Laurabel Mba is a business professional, passionate about helping organizations increase their capacity by securing adequate funding for programs and services. With an eye for creative problem-solving and exemplary interpersonal skills, she strives for success in all her endeavours.

    She recognizes the current disparities in society for BIPOC, marginalized and underrepresented communities and lends her voice and experience to bring their concerns and struggles to the decision-making table.

    As a host on Out of the Fog and Public Speaker, Laurabel enjoys shining a light on those working to make Newfoundland and Labrador not only a more welcoming province but those who are striving to improve the lives of the people who call it home.

    Laurabel is actively committed to building and anti-racist and equitable society and does this through her business Race 2 Dinner NL by creating space to have open and honest conversations about race, racism and white supremacy within our society. Laurabel Mba continues to build her professional skill set and welcomes opportunities to enrich her educational development.

  • Amy Coady

    Councillor Amy Coady was born and raised in Grand Falls-Windsor.  Elected to the Grand Falls-Windsor Town Council in 2009, re-elected in 2013, 2017, and 2021, she is actively involved in Council committees including Public Works and Development-as Chairperson, Corporate Services, and Community Services. Coady is also a member of the Exploits Valley Salmon Festival Committee, Exploits Joint Council, and Harmsworth Public Library Council Liaison.

    Councillor Coady was elected as Central Director for Municipalities NL in November, 2016 and re-elected as Central Director in 2018 and 2020. She served in that role until she stepped in to fill the role of Interim Chair for Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador in 2020.  She was acclaimed as President during the 2020 MNL Convention and re-acclaimed as President of MNL in November 2021.

    Coady is employed with the Dept. of Transportation and Infrastructure, Grand Falls- Windsor. Coady is actively involved in many other community groups and organizations, some of which include: the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Sacramental Preparation program, School Volunteer and Minor Sports Coach & Volunteer. She is a mom to 3, Isaac (20), Faith (18) & Theresa (14).
  • Heather Dalton

    Heather Dalton is Partner of M5 Public Affairs, bringing 17 years of experience in the marketing and communications industry. In addition to playing a key role in leading M5, her practice areas include strategy and brand development, as well as research and communications.

    Her strong agency background paired with her experience in niche areas of marketing and communications, politics being one of them, provides her team and clients with the cross-disciplinary expertise required to create, build, and execute strong brands today.

    Heather has also led past segmentation and persona development projects for Acadia University, Marine Atlantic, Tourism New Brunswick, and International Experience Canada (Government of Canada).
